Parks Projects Update Pitt Meadows is the Natural Place where parks, open spaces, sports fields and green spaces are key to the way of life. Learn about some recent Parks Projects. Green Team Initiative On March 30, 42 community members gathered to enjoy the great outdoors and restore Hoffmann Park by removing 15 cubic metres of invasive plants, the same as 93 bathtubs. Rose Grabenhorst Garden Improvements Exciting developments have taken place since 2023. Phase one of our project has reached a significant milestone, with the completion of walking trails, newly installed water retention ponds, tree preservation work, and upgrades to the historic barn. Stay tuned for further updates. Interested in being a Garden Volunteer? Help remove invasive plants, weed, plant and tidy at Grabenhorst Garden. Tools and training are provided. Program is best suited for 16 years and up. For details and how to register visit pittmeadows.ca/parksprojects. PMAP Picnic Shelter - NEW! The Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (PMAP) will have a new picnic shelter for the community to enjoy! The covered area will be located near the playground and provide a picnic table and space for additional seating.
