Designed specifically for beginners, the program required no prior art experience and focused on experimentation, creativity, and process rather than technical skill. Participants learn how to layer beeswax with collage materials to create textured, luminous surfaces, exploring colour, pattern, and composition in a relaxed and supportive environment. This technique encourages experimenting with layering and texture to express ideas. Join our workshop to turn everyday materials into expressive art. Makedo: Cardboard Creations Saturdays, Sept 12, Oct 10, Nov 14, Dec 12, 11 am-1 pm Imagine it, build it—out of cardboard! For ages 6 and up. Tools provided, but bring cardboard if you’d like. Makedo lets kids turn cardboard into creative projects using safe, simple tools. Build forts, robots, and more while fostering creativity, engineering, and teamwork. Caregivers must stay during the event. Magic the Gathering Saturdays, Sept 19, Oct 17, Nov 21, Dec 19, 11 am-1 pm Come play Magic: The Gathering, a strategic trading card game where players use decks of cards to battle each other. This program is open to everyone ages 10 and up. Bring your deck and play with your friends, or use some of our cards to build a deck for the day and learn to play. STEAM Club Saturdays, Sept 26, Oct 24, Nov 28, 11 am-1 pm A fun, monthly club that explores the elements of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Bring your imagination and take home a beautiful card to share with a loved one. Dungeons and Dragons (One-shots) Calling all adventurers! Join us as we travel through fifth edition, one-shot adventures. Together our brave players will explore different worlds, complete dangerous quests and have lots of fun!
