Sewing Class - Fashion 11Y - 15Y This sewing class introduces the fundamentals of

sewing and helps participants build on existing skills. Each class encourages creativity, hands-on learning and personal expression, making it a great way to develop sewing skills while exploring eco-friendly fashion techniques. Learn the basics, including how to safely operate a sewing machine, follow a pattern, cut fabric and assemble clothing and accessories. Sewing tools, fabrics, trims (buttons, zippers and clips), machines and patterns are included. Participants gain practical knowledge to care for children and prepare for babysitting opportunities. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Certificate.
