Make language fun! Start early with Babytime. Help your baby develop speech and language skills. Enjoy bouncing, singing, and rhyming with stories. Babytime is a fun, social bonding activity for babies and caregivers. This program is best suited to children ages 0 to 2. Storytimes Wednesdays, September 13 – December 13 10:30 – 11 am Fridays, September 15- December 15 10:30 – 11 am Introduce kids to the love of books and language with Storytime! Children and caregivers will enjoy interactive stories, songs, rhymes and more. Storytime prepares children to learn and read. Daycares are welcome to register by calling the library 604-465-4113.

Art Night: Watercolours Thursday, September 21 5:30 – 7:30pm Join us for Art Night. We will be experimenting with colours, wet and dry technique, shapes, and brushes. Registration Required. Art Night: Faux Leather Journals Thursday, October 19 5:30 – 7:30pm Come make a journal that looks and feels like leather! Registration Required. Frauds and Scams for Seniors Thursday, October 19 10am – 11:30am This presentation introduces what frauds and scams are, common methods and schemes targeting Canadian seniors, safety strategies, and resources to consult if you or someone you know has been affected by frauds/scams. While intended for an audience of seniors, the information presented will be useful for the public in general.

Smash Bros. Tournament Friday, October 20 1:30 – 4 pm Join us for a Super Smash Bros. Tournament at the library and play to win a prize! Spots are available on a first come first serve basis on the day of the event. We will be using the Ultimate (Switch) version. Players may bring their own controllers provided they are legal. Art Night: Watercolours Thursday, November 16 5:30 – 7:30pm Join us for a project looking at how to paint flowers, leaves and trees. Registration Required.
