Playground Experience Show and Tell* Saturday, June 17, 11am – 3pm School is almost out! Come meet the Playground collection and discover how you can keep the learning going all summer long. Sphero Bolts support coding and math skills, while Ukuleles and Specdrums can inspire budding musicians of all ages. Astronomers and birders are supported by our Telescopes and Birdwatching Backpacks , even Disc Golf kits for even more outdoor fun! Don’t forget Puzzle Cubes too, there’s no end to the fun available at the library! Art Night: Watercolours Thursday, May 25, 5:30 – 7:30pm Join us for Art Night! We will be doing a watercolour art project. No experience necessary, all supplies provided. This program is intended for teens and adults. Registration Required.

Make language fun! Start early with Babytime. Help your baby develop speech and language skills. Enjoy bouncing, singing and rhyming with stories. Babytime is a fun, social bonding activity for babies and caregivers. This program is best suited to children ages 0 to 2. Storytimes Wednesdays, April 5 – June 28 10 – 10:30am Fridays, April 14 – June 30 10:30 – 11am Introduce kids to the love of books and language with Storytime! Children and caregivers will enjoy interactive stories, songs, rhymes and more. Storytime prepares children to learn to read. Please Note: ** If you are part of a daycare, please register by calling the library at 604-465-4113. Second Annual Tiny Art Show: Opening Night Thursday, April 6 6 – 7:30pm

Bring your current knit, crochet, stitching or handwork project and enjoy creating with a group of fabric artists. Any and all materials welcome at this fun and social gathering. Art Night: Faux Leather Journals Thursday, April 20, 5:30 – 7:30pm We will be making journals that look and feel like leather. No experience necessary, all supplies provided. This program is intended for teens and adults. Registration Required. Fun with Ozobots Monday, April 24, 3 – 4pm Come check out FVRL’s littlest robot, the Ozobot! This miniature robot can be programmed by drawing with coloured markers. For ages 9-12. Registration required.

Puzzle Cube Tournament Wednesday, May 10, 1 – 3pm

How fast can you solve a 3 x 3 puzzle cube? Join us for a puzzle cube-solving tournament to show off your skills!
