Home Alone - Stay Safe 9Y - 13Y

Spending time at home alone while your parents are busy running errands or working? This Canadian Red Cross Stay Safe program provides the skills needed to safely look after yourself. We will cover Basic First Aid and interactive lessons and scenarios that will help you and your parents feel more confident when you are home alone. Topics include safety, basic first aid, managing behaviours, child development, and care for babies, toddlers & children, communication, etc. You will receive a Canadian Red Cross Babysitters Certificate upon successful completion of the tested material. Please bring a pen, a water bottle, a bagged lunch, and wear comfortable clothes. Learn 2 Lead 12Y - 16Y

Learn 2 Lead is a volunteer-based program that is designed to teach and build the fundamental skills of being a young leader. This is accomplished by discussions, event planning, orientations, hands-on experience with Pitt Troopers Day Camps, and much more. If you are interested in learning how to become a better more knowledgeable leader, join us in this development program to help explore your skills! To participate in this program, training and onboarding is mandatory. Some of this training will take place in our signature City wide events leading up to our Summer Camp programs (Pitt Meadows Day, Canada Day).
