Parks Projects Update Pitt Meadows is the Natural Place where parks, open spaces, sports fields and green spaces are key to the way of life. Learn about some recent Parks Projects. Approved Design for PMAP The Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (PMAP) design process has received council approval, marking an exciting phase to integrate enhanced sports and support facilities within the site's 8 acres of amenity lands. The proposed concept designs encompass an artificial turf field with lighting and ample seating for spectators, accompanied by a covered multi-sport arena. More information to come in 2025. Rose Grabenhorst Garden Improvements Ongoing renovations continue at the newly acquired park property to transform the landscape into a serene woodland garden. Phase one is on the verge of completion, showcasing newly accessible walking trails, water retention ponds, and restoration of the historic heritage barn. Spreading Festive Cheer Parks staff transformed the Civic Centre, the grand tree and šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square) with decorations and holiday lights ready for the Christmas in Pitt Meadows event. Thanks for spreading the cheer for our community. Fall Planting Initiative Sixty trees were strategically planted throughout the community. This initiative contributes to the beautification of our environment and ensures a sustainable future for generations to come. 2 3 4 1
