About Empower Me Kambo’s Empower Me® program is a leading energy conservation initiative designed for and delivered by multicultural communities. Its community-based model addresses language and trust barriers in EJ communities. Over the past decade, Empower Me has supported 70,000+ households in the Pacific Northwest through workshops and outreach. Kambo hires EJ community members to design and deliver the program, building trust and engagement. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Snap Circuits Thursday, May 21, 3:30 – 5:30 PM FVRL’s Snap Circuits are easy-to-use kits that teach basic circuitry and engineering. Snap together parts let users build real projects— lights, alarms, radios—and encourage hands-on STEAM learning through play. A caregiver is required for children under 10 years old. Makedo Thursday, June 11, 3:30 – 5:30 PM Build with cardboard! We provide the tools— bring extra cardboard if you have some. Makedo is a system that transforms cardboard into creative projects. Try The Playground’s™ Makedo kit of tools. Construct forts, robots, and more with this reusable kit that inspires creativity and teamwork. For ages 5+. Children under 7 must be with a caregiver. Grown-ups are encouraged to build alongside their child.

Spots are first-come, first-served on event day. We’ll use the Ultimate (Switch) version with library pro controllers. All players must follow posted gaming rules. This is a double-elimination tournament—be on time to play. Dungeons & Dragons Calling all adventurers! Join us as we travel through fifth edition, one-shot adventures.
