Ready for play!
Project in action.
It's a hit! The Parks Department and Ridge Meadows Minor Baseball Association (RMMBA) worked together to revitalize Diamond #4 at Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (PMAP). The field has been transformed into a high-quality baseball field and is ready for play. The execution of this project included rock dust removal, top-tier sport field spec sand replacement, installation of new irrigation lines, and laying of 700+ rolls of sod. This collaborative effort was fueled by the support of generous sponsors and the hard work of volunteers over two weeks. As the 2024 season unfolds, a heartfelt thanks goes out to all those who made this a reality for the community. A special thanks to Ryan Carpenter, Dan Kosiki, Kim Andrews, Tyler Beaune and Kyler Reid. And now, it's time to step up to the plate and play ball!
