WEEKLY THEME DESCRIPTIONS WEEK 1 (JULY 2–4) COAST TO COAST – Explore the wonders of Canada from sea to sea with games, Indigenous-inspired crafts and a celebration of our country’s coolest landmarks, wildlife and traditions. WEEK 2 (JULY 7–11) TROOPERS IN THE WILD – Get your hands dirty and your feet moving as we explore the great outdoors with scavenger hunts, nature crafts and wildlife discovery adventures. WEEK 3 (JULY 14–18) PIXEL PIONEERS – Calling all diggers and builders, jump into a real-life adventure with hands-on building challenges, crafting quests and pixel-perfect fun! Craft, mine, repeat — no screen required! WEEK 4 (JULY 21–25) SUPER TROOPERS – From enchanted princes and princesses to superhero capes and Jurassic World, campers will dive into magical worlds, create epic characters and CHAMPIONS – Go for gold in our Olympic podium showdown! Kids will team up, compete in silly and sporty games, and cheer each other on in fun challenges all week long. WEEK 6 (AUGUST 4–8) TIME WARP – Hop in the time machine and blast through the decades with groovy games, retro crafts and funky fun become the heroes of their own adventure! WEEK 5 (JULY 28–AUGUST 1) SUMMER OF
WEEK 8 (AUGUST 18–22) MAD SCIENCE MAYHEM – Put on your lab coat and blast off into a week of wild science experiments, fizzy reactions and space-age discoveries! WEEK 9 (AUGUST 25–29) FUNHOUSE FRENZY – Step right up to a week of colourful carnival fun — games, face painting, prizes and sweet surprises as the camp turns into a mini fairground!
INTEGRATED SUMMER CAMPS
The City of Pitt Meadows offers one-to-one support staff for children with varying abilities ages 6-11 to participate in Pitt Troopers Summer Camps. Registration is required on a first-come, first served basis. Each child may register for a maximum of five days (one full week of camp) of one-to-one support to provide this service to as many families as possible. Children who receive support in our camps typically meet one or more of the following criteria: • Extra support is required in school. • Additional support or assistance is required at home for basic care. • A physical, developmental and/or learning disability exists that affects the safety of the participant in a program. • The participant is currently associated with a support agency.
