Parks Projects Update Pitt Meadows is the Natural Place where parks, open spaces, sports fields and green spaces are key to the way of life. Learn about some recent Parks Projects. Green Team TD Tree Days Event members and TD employees of all ages, abilities, and experience planted 288 native trees, shrubs, and plants, spread 3 cubic metres of mulch, and removed 7.5 cubic metres (47 bathtubs) of invasive ivy, blackberry, and holly! Visit greenteamscanada.ca for details. Rick O’Brien Sport Court 1 2 The Lower Mainland Green Team hosted a TD Tree Days event at Hoffmann Park on October 6. Fifty-two community The outdoor basketball court at the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre has been refurbished and unveiled as the "Constable Rick O’Brien Court," honouring the late officer who served the Ridge Meadows community. With the support of the Vancouver Bandits and sponsors, the court offers a space for youth and law enforcement to come together through sports, fostering unity and connection. Rose Grabenhorst Garden Improvements Recent improvements include the installation of an ornamental pond, enhanced drainage systems, electrical upgrades, and pillar installation at the Place of Remembrance. Watch for updates on the Parks Projects web page. Disc Golf at Bonson Park Opening Soon! This eight hole disc golf course is designed to provide a new recreational opportunity while minimizing disruption to existing park amenities.
