Add texture, depth, and a dreamy finish to mixed-media art in this fun, hands-on program. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! Watercolour Thursday, February 26, 5:30 - 7:30 PM Dive into the captivating world of watercolours with our beginner program designed to unlock your artistic potential! Whether you’re brand new to painting or looking to refine your skills, our program offers a welcoming space for exploration and growth. Learn fundamental techniques such as washes, blending, and colour mixing. Adults and Teens welcome. Dungeons & Dragons One-Shots Calling all adventurers! Join us as we travel through fifth edition, one-shot adventures. Together our brave players will explore different worlds, complete dangerous quests and have lots of fun! Pre-made characters, dice, a Dungeon Master, and snacks will be provided. Registration Required.

Nintendo Gaming Tournaments: Mario Kart Tournament Tuesday, January 27, 1 - 4 PM Join us for an afternoon of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch. Register online to save your spot on the tournament roster. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament Friday, February 13, 1 - 4 PM Join us for a Super Smash Bros. Tournament at the library and play to win prizes! Spots are available on a first-come-first-serve basis on the day of the event. We will be using the Ultimate (Switch) version of the game with the library’s pro controllers. All players must follow the gaming rules of conduct that will be posted on the door. This will be a double-elimination tournament. Players must show up on time to play.
Tuesday, January 13, 3:30 - 5:30 PM Let’s get crafty! Drop in to the Pitt Meadows library for a fun family craft. This month let’s make one-of-a-kind Shrinky Dink Charms for jewelry or keychains. Tissue Paper Suncatchers Tuesday, February 10, 3:30 - 5:30 PM Let’s get crafty! Drop in to the Pitt Meadows library to craft a unique suncatcher that can be hung in a window. Button Making Tuesday, March 10, 3:30 - 5:30 PM Let’s get crafty! Drop in to the Pitt Meadows library for a fun family craft. This month drop in for a creative button making session. Use drawing and collage supplies to create buttons to bring home. STEAM Club: MakeDo Cardboard Creation Saturday, February 21, 2 - 4 PM Want to build fun stuff out of cardboard? Use kid friendly tools and reusable screws to create a robot, a rocket ship, a dragon, or anything else you can imagine! All materials provided. Suitable for ages 7 - 12. Caregivers are encouraged to stay and create with their children but do not need to register themselves. For children under 10 years of age, a caregiver must be present to assist their child.
