This is not your Latin or Zumba class, but a fusion of cardio fitness-dance inspired with energetic pop soundtracks, adventurous African beats to Hip Hop, Cabaret, Salsa and more. Classes vary from fluid movements to fancy footwork and intricate hands and arm movements, while using some props such as a scarf, hat, drumsticks etc. Come ready to grove in your workout gear, clean shoes, and be inspired for a fun class of dance fusion. No experience or equipment required. This class is a blend of basic yoga poses based on Hatha Yoga. Physical postures help to align, strengthen and promote flexibility. An overall sense of balance is the goal as we target a full sweep of the body’s range of movements including standing, seated and prone/supine postures. Variations offered to allow you the freedom to decide what suits your yoga practice to deepen your understanding of posture, breathing and relaxation techniques. Previous yoga practice is helpful, but all levels are welcome. Bring your yoga mat, blocks and water bottle.
