Emergency Support Services (ESS) INFO SESSION 16Y+ Join the Emergency Support Services (ESS) team and be a beacon of hope in times of crisis. ESS volunteers provide vital assistance to individuals and families affected by disasters. From responding to house fires to operating reception and group lodging centres during larger emergencies, ESS volunteers play a critical role in providing immediate care and support. The Justice Institute of BC offers free, comprehensive training to prepare volunteers for diverse roles, including ESS management, registration and referrals, meet and greet, pet services and more. Register and attend our free info session to learn how you can make a difference during times of disaster.
