Come join the party and dance to Latin beats and use Zumba toning sticks. This class will get your sweat on while we utilize muscle toning and sculpting exercise with the rhythm of Zumba Basics. We will either use resistance movements and/ or toning sticks during this class. Physical postures help to align, strengthen and promote flexibility. An overall sense of balance is the goal as we target a full sweep of the body’s range of movements including standing, seated and prone/supine postures. Variations offered to allow you the freedom to decide what suits your yoga practice to deepen your understanding of posture, breathing and relaxation techniques. Previous yoga practice is helpful, but all levels are welcome. Bring your yoga mat, blocks and water bottle.
Pilates helps build good postural alignment, competent core strength, and mobile joint function. The sequence of exercises working from the mat will focus on developing the smaller inner core muscles within your trunk, legs, arms and back. Small changes reap functional benefits for better awareness to keep you balanced, breathe deeper, and stand taller. Bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Yin/Yang Yoga 16Y+
This combo yoga class will give you active movements with relaxing deep stretches. You will warm and move from strengthening yoga flow into calmer deeper stretches. Poses are held longer to work on connective tissues of the tendon, fascia and ligaments. These poses are targeted to relieve tension in the hips, pelvis, inner thigh and lower spin as we continue to have breath and increasing mindfulness. Good for all levels and a great warm-up class to add on as a combo with the next class of Hatha-Ongoing.
