Rendering of Mitchell Park Playground

Parks Projects Update Pitt Meadows is the Natural Place where parks, open spaces, sports fields and green spaces are key to the way of life. Learn about some recent Parks Projects. This Way to Park Trail Signs The Parks Department installed new trail markers and directional signs in the fall. This project aims to improve and update the signage along the trail system to enhance the visitor's experience and improve safety. Slam Dunk! The Vancouver Bandits recently donated basketball hoops and nets for the Pitt Meadows community courts in Mitchell Park. This is a testament to their commitment to grassroots sports development. The new nets have been installed and are ready for the Pitt Meadows community to use. Thank you Vancouver Bandits! Ready, Set, Play! The Parks Department has replaced the aged-out playground at Mitchell Park with a brand new playground all ready for the spring. Get ready to play. Disc Golf Try-it Event In August the Parks Department hosted a pop-up disc golf event at Bonson Park. Participants of all ages showed up and enjoyed the day. This event was held to foster community spirit and gauge interest in a permanent disc golf course in the community. Photos by Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. 2 3 4 1
